A total of over 700 cubic metres of lightweight concrete has been supplied for the Gauteng provincial treasury building in Johannesburg. The concrete roof area, covering 3900m² has been insulated with an average of 200mm thick CemteQ 600 density lightweight concrete screed. The product was supplied in preblended 100 litre bags to overcome the challenges of getting the material onto the roof of the 10-storey building in busy Fox Street. The product was mixed and placed in-situ on the roof.
