CemteQ recently supplied 70m³ of perlite for a lightweight screed to an office building in Blairgowrie. The project required the existing cellular lightweight concrete screed to be removed as it had deteriorated. A perlite screed and waterproofing was then applied with a slope-to-fall. Weight was a major consideration as the roof also carries the additional load of solar panels mounted on a water ballast.
