The requirement was to build a solid, lightweight structure to house diesel tanks on a slab between basements. CemteQ produced specially-cut 110mm thick lightweight Q-blocks which were used for cavity walls to meet the rational design of the fire engineer. Skystone Projects carried out the project using CemteQ lightweight Q-blocks that weigh 650kg/m3. These significantly reduced the possible load of traditional materials on the slab. The walling was plastered using CemteQ’s PlasterteQ plaster.
