A shout out to PVS Construction for successfully deploying CemteQ’s innovative solutions for the Dainfern Square shopping centre extension project. To reduce the loads on the existing coffer slab, approximately 200m² of CemteQ’s lightweight concrete Q-Blocks were used for ablution and external walling and roughly 135m³ of CemteQ’s perlite-based Screedlite was used. To meet the project’s urgent timeline for 1200m² of screed at an average 110mm thick, the Screedlite was specially packed in 500lt bulk bags for site mixing in large batches. The Screedlite will be finished with a self-levelling screed and a vinyl floor finish.
