Nearly 1000m2 of 200mm and 100mm thick lightweight Q-blocks were used in this ACSA project in Kempton Park as well as CemteQ’s perlite-based lightweight screed and CemteQ’s 600 kg/m3 lightweight concrete void former. The walling was used in the conversion of an existing parking garage with load constraints to commercial space. CemteQ’s lightweight concrete Q-blocks are an excellent choice for builders and construction professionals looking for a lightweight, durable and energy-efficient walling material that is also environmentally sustainable.
