Due to weight challenges on an existing floor of the recently converted ‘Bank’ Building in Rosebank, CemteQ supplied a lightweight walling system to build a bespoke new gym. Lightweight concrete blocks manufactured with recycled polystyrene aggregate in combination with our special mortar and plaster were used to build 128m² of walling with dramatically reduced point loading. The weight saving was in excess of 26 tons.
