Perlite is a common alternative to EPS as an aggregate replacement for lightweight concrete. With densities of between 40 and 80kg per cubic metre, The exfoliated Perlite produced by CemteQ weighs between 70 and 80kg per cubic metre and provides concrete densities as low as 400-500 kg per cubic metre dependent on the mix design and strength requirements. Not only does exfoliated Perlite meet the highest sustainable engineering standards, but it is also chemically inert, non-combustable, odourless and durable, pH neutral and has a very low carbon footprint.
