CemteQ recently supplied 80m³ of lightweight aggregate to Triangle Readymix for use in a 600kg/m3 lightweight concrete on a roof screed in Sasolburg. A blend of recycled polystyrene with a carefully designed particle size distribution was supplied in bulk bags. The material is ground and coated and supplied with a bespoke admixture cocktail. Mixed and pumped the same way as traditional readymix concrete, it offers significant lightweight and thermal properties.
